Following several successful projects for large companies where we have specified and implemented DCS and MIS systems, we have developed a very effective and efficient project execution strategy that is primarily based on the software development "Spiral Model". Intuitive's strategy includes adding an initial project prototype phase where the User Requirements can be visualised, and a subsequent schedule-driven ("fast-track") phase. This enables us to deliver an automation system and/or MIS with not only significantly reduced schedule and cost, but also improved quality of the software and associated documentation produced.

With template library modules we can easily and quickly demonstrate conceptual designs with the aid of process simulation. This methodology significantly increases understanding of the project deliverables. It is said that "a picture speaks a thousand words".We believe that a well-defined process simulation model can say much more.

Demonstration of the client's control requirements in the form of a dynamic process model at the earliest stage ensures that client expectations are fully realised and understood, and as a result significantly reduces project risk. Additional benefits include reduced documentation rework due to misinterpretation, but by far the biggest benefit is that all parties work together as an integrated and harmonious team at the earliest opportunity, which then continues throughout the project delivery phase.
