A Feasibility Study is an important tool for determining whether a project is both possible and justified. Where possible it will offer alternative solutions, and an associated cost-benefit analysis, to increase project viability.

Intuitive engineers are experienced in performing feasibility studies on both:

• Existing Systems to determine what issues are present, the estimated costs of these issues in a number of scenarios, how these issues can be most effectively resolved and a cost-benefit analysis for the resolution of each issue
• New Systems encompassing the cost and schedule magnitude for the project, system complexity, applicability of different technologies to the project and where necessary how the requirements can be refined and streamlined to increase viability

Intuitive engineers' experience allows them to understand best practice, business drivers and the environments in which they are operating. In addition, we have several tools, including process simulations, analysis and documentation tools at our disposal to assist in the process.

The content of an Intutive Feasibility Study will vary according to the subject matter, but it will usually assess:

• commercial viability
• technical viability
• operational viability
• resource availability
• cost-benefit analysis of each component and the project as a whole
• risk analysis
• whether any requirements can be refined or streamlined using prototyping
